Pandemic Update: Lawsuits, Health, and Small Business
This Sunday we have a great lineup for our weekly Facebook Live event. I’ll be joined by Joel Ard, my former partner at Foster Pepper and current private practice attorney, who has brought two lawsuits against Governor Jay Inslee’s stay-at-home orders.
One of these lawsuits is on behalf of school children, and the other is on behalf of several legislators and Washington residents who have been impacted by these orders.
We’ll also be joined by Deanna Martinez, whom some of you have heard from before. She’s a nurse from Central Washington and will be giving an update on the realities on the frontlines of COVID-19.
The event will be a little different this time, to allow more opportunity for asking questions. Ann Donnelly, a businesswoman from Vancouver and former chair of the Clark County Republican Party, will be moderating the discussion rather than me. She will be asking your questions of me and getting my thoughts on other topics as well. You deserve to know where I stand on the issues, and Ann will be asking some of those questions.
